Privacy Policy

Orra Health is a client/server application by Acroseas that permits its users to control certain operations including, but not limited to, secure uploading and downloading of audio files and patient transcript documents, data storage and accessing data previously stored on the Orra Health server. A browser based application with enhanced file management options and a login dashboard for the users, together constitutes the term “Web Interface” for the purpose of this agreement and common understanding hereon. The following general terms and conditions govern your use of the Orra Health Web Interface and permit you to carry out the associated operations.


Acroseas grants you (the "Licensee"), a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sub-licensable, revocable limited license, in object code form only, to use the Web Interface on different platforms including , but not limited to, desktops, laptops, tablets, PDAs and allied with a single user credentials in the United States, United Kingdom and other English speaking countries by large. You acknowledge and agree that the operations related to the web interface will utilize the bandwidth of your local lease line, LAN networks, dial-up connection, a wireless network or any other internet data plans to send and receive data, and that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) may bill you for the usage airtime, data and/or usage fees as applicable.


RESTRICTIONS. You may not:

A. Use the web interface for any commercial purposes and carry out transfer and storage transactions other than that with Acroseas

B. access the web interface with any other software, patch codes, any external plug-ins, or any other third-party applications similar in nature

C. Copy, reproduce, distribute, or in any other manner duplicate the web interface with respect to, including, but not limited to it’s design, functionality and features in whole or in part

D. Sell, lease, license, sublicense, distribute, assign, transfer or otherwise grant any rights to access the Web Interface in whole or in part

E. Modify, port, translate, or create derivative works of the Web Interface

F. Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to derive, reconstruct, identify or discover any source code, underlying ideas, or algorithms, of the Web Interface by any means

G. Remove, or attempt to tamper with any proprietary notices, labels or marks from the Web Interface

H. Use the Service for purposes of comparison with or benchmarking against products or services made available by any third-party developer, marketer/seller



Acroseas and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in the Web Interface and the associated Service including, but not limited to, all patent, copyright, trade secret, trademark and other intellectual property rights associated therewith, and all title to such rights shall remain solely with Acroseas and/or its licensors. Unauthorized copying or duplicating of the Web Interface or Service, or failure to comply with the above restrictions, will result in automatic termination of this Agreement and all licenses granted hereunder, and will make available to Acroseas all legal and equitable remedies for breach thereof.


The Orra Health Web Interface by Acroseas is a stand-alone functioning and browser supported interface and does not borrow any component from any third-party application, or other developments similar in nature. Acroseas does not and in any event, will not hold any responsibility or itself liable for any native (Windows or MAC based software), any third-party software applications and plug-ins,antivirus and firewall setups, internet and browser settings, or any other installations intruding the functioning of the Orra Health Web Interface and any miss-management there of resulting out of the same.


Acroseas adheres to all the data protection rules, acts and legislations of all the countries that it conducts business with. Encrypted servers, firewall protection and adequate antivirus measures are installed and established to ensure optimum data privacy and security.

A. Names. Acroseas Will hold all the names of the patients, doctors, clinics, any other referrals or any naming reference in absolute confidence and will share the same with no third-party individuals or organizations. All the contact details shared by you with Acroseas will remain between you and Acroseas and will be solely used for medical transcription, understanding customer satisfaction and information purposes.

B. User Credentials. The information gathered from you to set up your account will be held in strict confidence by Acroseas and the user credentials (Username/email and the associated password) would not be traded with any third party, clients or any other entity. The password will be computer generated and any subsequent changes to the same will be user activated and Acroseas holds no responsibility for the same. Every user is given one user ID and password and the same are not shared with any entity other than Acroseas’ administrators and the user him/herself. Acroseas is not liable towards any breach of user details resulting out of the acts of the user.

C. Audio Files. The audio files generated through patient observation and dictation is your property and you possess the soul ownership of the same. Acroseas reserves the rights only to the extent of transcription operations post the upload of the generated audio files, its subsequent transit time internally and for any further storage thereon as per your instructions. Acroseas shall assume the responsibility of “security” of the audio files only to the extent of time when the files are within the Web Interface. Acroseas holds no liability for any damage, or data loss arising out of storage of the recorded audio files in the native drives, external storage devices of your laptop, desktop, Tablet, PDA or any other gadget used for your daily transcription operations. Such storage is beyond the purview of Acroseas.

D. Other Information. Any and all information that you provide will remain confidential and may be disclosed by Acroseas, if so required, to meet legal or regulatory requirements, such as under a court order or to a government institution if required or authorized by law, or in the event of a sale, merger or acquisition to another entity by Acroseas.

For additional support, Licensee may request such support via the foregoing website, and upon Acroseas personnel availability, Acroseas may provide reasonable support services through fax, email or other means to Licensee with regards to defect and/or clarification of functions and features of the Web Interface and Service either instantly, or within 48 business hours (except during legal and company holidays).


You acknowledge and agree that acroseas is providing the web interface and the associated service to you solely to permit you to evaluate and use them. Consequently, you agree to take all precautions and safeguards necessary to protect your data and systems from loss or damage. Acroseas endeavors to ensure the access to the Web Interface made available 24 hours a day. However Acroseas shall not be liable if for any reason the access is unavailable at any time, for any period. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, acroseas specifically disclaims any express or implied warranties, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.


Monetary payouts for Acroseas’ services would be a result of price negotiations between you and Acroseas or subject to schemes put out by Acroseas or any of its authorized resellers through any official communication covering the Orra Health web site at www.orratech.com, emails and other incidental pieces of communication. The payment need to be in lines with the terms and conditions outlined in the contract document signed at the time of commencement of the term of service. Service would constitute medical transcriptions and the associated support thereon.


To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will acroseas, its officers, directors, and employees, or its licensors be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, loss of data, loss of use, business interruption, or cost of cover, arising from the use of the web interface or any of its associated services, however caused, under any theory of liability, even if advised of the possibility of such damages in advance. Acroseas assumes no liability for any viruses or any other disabling features that affect your access to or use of the Web Interface.


This Agreement begins on your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this Agreement and expires upon its termination. Acroseas may terminate this Agreement, and the license granted hereunder, at any time in its sole discretion, with or without cause, by notifying you that the Service has expired or has been terminated. This Agreement shall terminate automatically upon the breach of any of its terms and conditions by you. Upon termination, you shall immediately stop use of and shall delete your data on the Web Interface through your account assigned to you by Acroseas. Acroseas is not liable towards the existence of any data stored by you on the Web Interface; post the intimation of such termination.


Third-party trademarks, trade names, product names and logos contained in or used in the Web Interface are the trademarks or registered trademarks of its respective owners, and the use of such Trademarks shall inure to the benefit of the trademark owner.

The use of such Trademarks is intended to denote interoperability and does not constitute: A. An affiliation by Acroseas with such company, or B. an endorsement or approval of such company of Acroseas and its products or services.


This agreement shall be governed by the laws of India and the Indian Penal Act and all the associated acts relating to copyrights and cyber laws of the country. By accepting to this agreement, you agree to abide by the rules and regulations outlined by the laws governing the geographic coverage of India. This agreement is between Acroseas and you and supersedes any other communications or advertising in respect of the Web Interface. The failure of Acroseas to exercise or enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
